Kay Francis

Kay Francis was most recently seen last month at The Old Creamery's Studio Stage in The Gin Game with Tommy Milligan and is delighted to be working with him again in On Golden Pond. Last year Kay appeared in The Mousetrap (Mrs. Boyle) for The Old Creamery and previously she was seen here in Rumors (Clare), Whose Wives are They Anyway (D.L.), and Leaving Iowa (Mom). Earlier this year Kay appeared as Mildred Sloan in Squabbles at the Off Broadway Palm Dinner Theater in Fort Myers, Florida. Other recent roles include Clairee in Steel Magnolias and Esther in Breaking Up is Hard to Do at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre, Hudson, FL; Lottie Child, Crazy for You, Theatre By The Sea, Matunuk, R.I.; Guido's mother in Nine, ThetreZone, Naples, FL; Miss Tweed in Something's Afoot, The Schoolhouse Theatre, Sanibel, FL; Constanza, Enchanted April, Florida Repertory Theatre, Fort Myers, FL; and Vivian Snustad in the Church Basement Ladies tour for Prather Production in Fort Myers FL, Mesa, AZ and Lancaster, PA. Favorite roles include Fraulein Schneider, Cabaret; Dolly Levi, Hello Dolly, and Esther, Two by Two. Kay will also be appearing as Marian in Busybody and Vivian Snustad in Church Basement Ladies - A Second Helping at The Old Creamery later this year. Kay and husband Bruce live in Naples, Florida when not on the road and thank Sean, Jackie, Tom and Deb for inviting them back to The Colonies for another season of golf and theater.
