Angie Toomsen

Angie Toomsen is delighted to return to the Studio, where she previously directed Lombardi and God of Carnage. Angie works with many area theaters and is a core member of both Fourth Room and Urban Theater Project. Recent directing credits include productions of August: Osage County for both UPT and the University of Northern Iowa, For Colored Girls and Five Women Wearing the Same Dress at Theatre Cedar Rapids, Cymbeline and Closer for Fourth Room, Bent, Blackbird and Henry V for Dreamwell. Other favorites include Rabbit Hole with UPT and Rachel Korach Howell's Horatio's Purgatory. Angie thanks KMM, RKH, RG, MJ, KAL, RR and her family for supporting her creative pursuits. And extra thanks to Sean McCall, OCT and this talented, soulful cast, for bringing one of Miller's powerful, lesser known pieces to the area.
