Briana Maxwell is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. This is her first production with Old Creamery Theatre. She earned her Masters degree from the stage management program at the University of Iowa. She is currently working as the Production Stage Manager of the Department of Dance and the Martha-Ellen Tye Opera program in the School of Music at the University of Iowa. Her most recent opera work at the University of Iowa includes Patience, Die Fledermaus, and Romeo et Juliette. She has also stage managed the Department of Dance's annual event Dance Gala several times. Other credits include stage manager of Ubu the King at Williamstown Theatre Festival; stage manager of Heartbreak House at Montana Shakespeare in the Parks; stage manager of Family of Mann at Iowa Summer Rep, and ASM and props designer for Twelfth Night, The Tempest, Comedy of Errors and The Winter’s Tale at Riverside Shakespeare Festival. She currently resides in Iowa City with her husband and daughter. Her hometown is Clarksville, TN.
