Derek Dreier

Derek Dreier is an active percussionist and music educator based in Chicago. His recent work includes performances with the Des Moines and Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphonies, Steinway Artist Jim McDonough, and a national tour with Chicago’s Close to You: The Music of the Carpenters. He has completed music performance degrees at the New England Conservatory, Indiana University, and Lawrence University. Derek is excited to be working with the Old Creamery Theatre in his native Iowa, and is looking forward to many rounds over par at the Amana Colonies Golf Course.
