Lee Nguyen

Making his music directorial debut, Lee Nguyen is excited to be on the other side of the baton for a change. Lee is a freelance accompanist/vocal coach in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area. Originally from Charles City, IA, Lee studied piano privately at Wartburg College and Interlochen Arts Academy and graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in piano performance. Accompanying/Collaborative arts was his focus and drive and he accompanied in student lessons with heavy emphasis on voice, flute, and all brass instruments. Lee has served as rehearsal/performance accompanist in many operas and musicals at the University of Iowa, Opera Iowa, Theater Cedar Rapids, and currently accompanies the choirs and tunes the pianos at Linn-Mar High School. On his free time, he works as a private sushi chef and IT consultant/technician. Lee is humbly grateful to be a part of this company and have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful group of people!
