Marianna Coffey

Originally from Columbus, Mississippi, Marianna Coffey is a graduate of Mississippi University for Women with a BFA in Art Education and a BA in Theatre. For the past nine years, Marianna has lived in Tupelo, Mississippi where she taught 7^th and 8^th grade art, theatre, and Apple based computer technology. Marianna has directed, designed, built, and stage-managed countless plays for both Tupelo Middle School and Tupelo Community Theatre. Her favorite production was Pamela Parker’s Second Samuel because of the interior and exterior design demands of the script. She has won numerous awards for her lighting and set designs. The one award that has meant the most was Tupelo Main Street Association’s Volunteer of the Year Award.
