Meg Merckens is thrilled to be celebrating 30 years with The Old Creamery Theatre during its 35th Anniversary Season. An Ohio native who grew up in Cleveland and graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Meg arrived at The Creamery in February, 1976, to begin rehearsing the role of Corie in Barefoot In The Park, the opening production of that season. This year Meg is back and so is Barefoot, but this time Meg will be performing the role of Corie’s mother! Other favorite roles and productions include June in Smoke on the Mountain, Mrs. Jenkins in Cash on Delivery, Lucille in The Cemetery Club and Kate in Broadway Bound. Meg and her husband, Producing Director Tom Johnson, are excited about one more special day in August - their 20th wedding anniversary. The 2006 season is sure to be "one big celebration!
