Randy's first love is musical theatre and he's directed, choreographed, conducted and performed on stages from California to Arizona to Iowa and has done few national tours where he played in most of the States in between. He is the Artistic Director for the Jefferson County Civic Center, in Fairfield, Iowa. He is also the Director/Choreographer for their newly-formed musical theatre touring group, The Encore Players. This group is Iowa's first professional musical theatre touring company, which is currently touring The Musical of Musicals, (The Musical!) throughout Iowa. He was a Musical Theatre professor, the Theatre Coordinator for the city of Phoenix, collaborated with Stephen Sondheim and George Furth on the re-working of their musical Merrily We Roll Along directing the pre-Broadway workshop production and he is currently Hawthorne Direct's Vice President/Creative Director. He lives in Fairfield with his wife of 14 years and their two sons William and Gareth.
