This is the first time for Jae hee Kim to join The Old Creamery Theatre. She is an artist, researcher and educator at the University of Iowa and has a dual job as a visiting researcher at the Seoul National University. She graduated from the University of Iowa theatre department and got her MA degree in Korea. She has designed costume and makeup for theatre, dance, magazine, and corporate events. Also she has exhibited costumes, makeup, masks and costume illustrations, body painting, puppet costumes, props with oil paintings at Hague City Atrium in Netherlands, Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery in Mongo, National Science and Technology Museum in Taiwan, Seoul Arts Center, Seoul Municipal Gyeong Hui Gung Palace, Kon Kuk University, in Korea, San Jose State University, The Douglas and Linda Paul Gallery in USA. Her home town is Seoul in Korea, however, she feels that Iowa City is her second home town in the world. Her hobbies are drawing, painting, sewing, swimming, skiing, playing piano and making noise with the violin.
