Scott Olinger holds an M.F.A. in Design from Penn State University and a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Northern Iowa. His work has been seen at Riverside Theatre, Pennsylvania Center Stage, Theatre Cedar Rapids, Juniata College, East Texas Opera Theatre, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Cornell College, Luther College, and on Iowa City Cable Television and Iowa Public Television. He also serves as the Special Events Coordinator for the Conference Committee of USITT.
Upcoming designs include the scenic and lighting design for Riverside Theatre's [title of show], the scenic and lighting design for CROT's Tosca, and Cornell's upcoming productions of Electra and Waiting for Godot. In his spare time, Scott raises chickens at his farm house north of Mount Vernon with his wife Courtenay, son Milo, daughter Violet, and their beloved pups Mocha and Tess.
