alan knoll
Alan Knoll returns to The Old Creamery, thrilled to be in Iowa working with his friend (and former student) Sean McCall. Alan was last here in ’04, directing A Perfect Wedding and playing the Emperor in Amadeus. Prior to that, he was Sidney Bruhl, in Deathtrap in 2000. So, like the politicians, every four years Alan Knoll makes the trip to Iowa from his hometown of St. Louis, where he has acted and directed for the last 25 years. Some other favorite roles include: Uncle Phil in Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah; Elwood P Dowd in Harvey; Falstaff in Henry IV, part ii; and a variety of roles in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, played opposite his beautiful and talented wife, Laurie, the best scene partner and life partner a guy could ask for.
