Cindy Tegtmeyer
Cindy Tegtmeyer has lots of experience Leaving Iowa. Over the past two years she has played both "Sis" and "Mom" in over 200 touring and Royal George Cabaret performances. She is happily making her Old Creamery debut offstage as director of Leaving Iowa. Cindy has directed and taught theatre in Chicago for over 10 years most notably directing numerous shows for Chicspeare Productions. Additionally, she has worked with Collaboraction Theatre Company, Riverfront Theater, Redmoon Theatre, National Pastime Theatre, Bailiwick, Chicago Jewish Theatre and Hystopolis Puppet Theatre. Her most recent onstage appearance was as Izzy in Rabbit Hole at Buffalo Theatre Ensemble. Cindy holds a BFA from Millikin University, spent a year touring as a clown with Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus and makes her living as a professional voice-over artist.
